Back in March I blogged about the opening of a new quilt exhibit called Beauty in Hard Times: Depression Era Quilts in Nebraska. I mentioned that this exhibit will run for two years and the quilts will change every six months. Well, six months are up and the quilts have changed. Our fresh batch of quilts includes gems from the Society’s collection and other Nebraska museums. In addition to the quilts we’re also featuring information about, and examples of, the use of feed sacks, patterns, and techniques popular during the era.
If you would like to come to the Nebraska History Museum to see the exhibit please go here for further information.
